褐藻素 Fucoidan
海蘊(日文:モズク Mozuku,學名:Cladosiphon Okamuranus),是一種類似髮菜的海藻,主要產於沖繩一帶的珊瑚礁。它身體柔軟,並會隨海水漂浮,像一朵雲,所以有「水雲」之稱,又因為它是附生 於岩礁上的藻類,又稱藻付(日文:藻付く)。海蘊呈綠色,無論外表與口感均與海帶相似,烹煮後則柔軟黏滑。又因為近年常用作髮菜的替代品,又有海髮菜之稱。

姬松茸 Agaricus Blazei
姬松茸又叫做「巴西蘑菇」,原產地巴西東南部聖保羅的Piedade山區,為自古以來當地居民食用菇類。及後被僑居巴西的日本科學家Takatoshi Furumoto發現,並將姬松茸的樣品送至布宜諾斯艾利斯大學和日本Mie省的大學作進一步的研究。日本藥理部日本國立癌症研究中心對姬松茸作了藥理作用分析,其後日本癌症學會總會及細菌學會總會更公開證實了姬松茸的抗頑症特性。
資料取自東京大學醫學部、日本國家癌症中心研究所、三重大學醫學部、東京藥科大學所做的菌類抗壞細胞病變實驗結果。

薑黃 Ukon
薑黃的應用已有幾千年的歷史,在中國和印度一直用作治療疾病之用。薑黃獨有的薑黃素及薑黃精油比例因應品種而不同,美國農業研究局USARS指出,薑黃精油能護腸胃、強化消化道、利膽、抗菌抗炎、消滯去脂、降膽固醇,而薑黃素則可以活化肝臟、清熱排毒、促進新陳代謝、協助解酒和減少宿醉、保護肝臟減少酒精傷害。
